Dyson DC34 Handheld Vacuum Giveaway!

When I was introduced to Allergy Buyers Club, I was incredibly impressed with the wide variety of products. They offer water filters, mattresses and more. 

As I've mentioned before I LOVE practical gifts at Christmas time. So I was thrilled to receive the Dyson DC34 Handheld Vacuum. In our home we have one big, heavy vacuum with a lot of attachments. It's such a hassle to use, that most of the "hard to reach" places get overlooked. This includes little crevices, my van, etc.  When the Dyson arrived I was so excited to try it out.

As soon as the Dyson DC34 reached our doorstep, Hubs grabbed it and pulled it out of the box right away. I'm not suree who was more excited, him or I. When Hubs started looking at the items in the box he said "I think I need to take a picture of this!! The instructions are amazing!" So...here you go:

Hubs used to be your typical guy, not to big on directions; but since our adventure in blogging; he has really come to appreciate it when an item includes thorough instructions.  The Dyson was fully assembled when it arrived which is always super nice. So we plugged it in & let it charge for several hours. After charging Hubs had to try it out on the living room floor. The next test, and a much bigger one was my van. I seriously don't know the last time its been vacuumed out. Just to give you an idea, this is what part of the floor looked like before the cleaning (Sorry about the stains...I need to figure out a way to get rid of those).

After about 10 minutes the whole van was cleaned out. The Dyson DC34 worked amazingly well on every surface, the leather interior, the kids carseats and the floors. 

I love this product, it is so incredibly lightweight. It has one attachment , a combination tool. To remove the combination tool and use the crevice tool you simply push the "release" button and push the tool back. I love that you don't have to fully remove the attachment, so there is no chance of loosing it. The handheld vacuum also has a bagless clear bin. I really appreciate this feature, so I can easily see when the bin is close to getting full. There is also an indicator light for when the battery is getting low. The battery is said to only last about 15 minutes on standard power mode and about 6 on max, like I said I used this for about 10 and still had battery life left. So while that may seem like a short amount of time, it is plenty to handle even the bigger tasks ; like cleaning out a vehicle.
