Whatever I Want To Be by Young Avenue Kids CD Review & Giveaway!

Baby A has been blessed to have found a love for music at an early age. We introduced him to music when he was still in the womb, when I would lay a musical seahorse on my belly for him to listen to every night. When he was big enough to start moving and kicking, the music would provoke him to 'dance' around my belly. Since he was born, music has always been the one thing that could *typically* calm and relax him and to this day he still stops everything he's doing when music starts to play.

*I received a complimentary copy of Whatever I Want To Be for review in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.

Young Avenue Kids was created by a woman named Ilana and a group of children who have a passion for music. Young Avenue Kids was name after a street in South Africa where Ilana was born and raised! Whatever I Want To Be is the first CD recording by Young Avenue Kids that features fun and educational songs that are sung in harmony to the music of classical and modern composures.

I was excited to receive a copy of Whatever I Want To Be, because I knew that Baby A would just love it! The CD has a fun, welcoming, fully illustrated cover that looks as though it could be a children's book. The Whatever I Want to Be CD is an Academics Choice Smart Media Award Winner.

The Whatever I Want To Be CD includes eleven (11) musical tracks, and bonus tracks where the children of Young Avenue Kids speak about the different composers that inspired the CD.

Included with the CD is a sixteen page booklet that features all of the lyrics, and entertaining narratives  written about the famous composers. It also includes fun photos for your child to enjoy while you're telling them all about the composers!

The CD opens with regal horns and a female starts to sing and is closely followed by the voices of children. What I love most about this CD is that there are actual children singing throughout all of the songs, which makes it fun and inviting for your kids to sing along with them. The lyrics are educational teaching children about cleaning up, the circus, and much more!

I highly recommend this fun and educational CD for your child or children to enjoy! I would safely say that anyone under the age of 6 is going to fall in love with this CD and beg for it to be on repeat in the car. You'll quickly catch onto the lyrics and start singing along with your little one providing a fun, speedy car ride for the whole family! This CD is also wonderful to keep in the house to enjoy during playtime as well!
