Celebrate You with PackIt

It's time to Celebrate You moms on the go with an awesome new product that will change the way you eat while on the go!

*I received a complimentary PackIt for review in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.*

When Baby A started eating solids, I quickly realized that you need to get pretty crafty keeping puree's cold when you're headed for an all day outing. A traditional "insulated" lunch bag and some ice packs will only keep things cold for so long, so what do you do when you still have a full day ahead of you and can't risk your little one's puree going bad?

PackIt generously sent me one of their PackIt Personal Coolers for review and I was looking forward to receiving it! I knew I wouldn't be using it daily, but I also knew that it would be perfect for our all day trips to the city when I needed to keep Baby A's food cold. He is an extremely picky eater so bringing food that he will eat [from home] is essential, but traditional ice packs can get messy and they never really fit quite right in the lunch bag along with the food, you know what I mean? I'm always struggling to get everything to fit just right once I've added the ice packs. With PackIt, the entire bag is not only insulated, but the ice packs are built in!! To freeze, you just stick the entire bag in the freezer! Don't worry, it folds up nice and tiny (photo at the bottom of this post)! The PackIt is a freezable, foldable, lunch bag that keeps your food cold and fresh for up to 10 hours!

The PackIt Personal Cooler measures 8 X 10 X 5 which is the perfect size for a healthy meal to fit into while you're away from your home. The PackIt is PVC free, BPA free, lead free, nontoxic, eco-friendly and 100% reusable! To ensure that your food stays cold, the PackIt has two pieces of velcro that allows the top flap to completely inclose the inside. When you're ready to grab a snack or sit down for your meal, simply pull up on the flap and you're inside the bag within a second!

The PackIt features an adjustable strap on the top of the bag, that also has a buckle so you can open the handle and attach it to a backpack, your stroller. If you plan on carrying the PackIt, you will have no problems with comfort being that the strap is thin enough to fit in the palm of your hand.

Inside of the PackIt is roomy and you can easily fit your lunch or snack essentials! The inside has extra insulation which also allows you to easily wipe clean if you have an accidental spill.

When you're back home and ready to refreeze your PackIt, I recommend folding it up and sticking it in your freezer door overnight, or until you need it! The PackIt folds up easily and velcro's closed so you never have to worry about it popping open in the freezer, or taking up unnecessary space!

Whether you use the PackIt for work, school, road trips, or just for when you're going to be away from your home for the day, you'll always know that you're feeding yourself (and your family, if you share your PackIt) heathy and with fresh foods!

  1. If I got the shopping cooler I would use it everytime I bought groceries. If I chose the social cooler, I'd use it for outings with family. If I chose the personal cooler, I'd give it to my daughter or grandson as a gift!
