The First Years Potty System Review and Giveaway

*I received a complimentary potty system for review in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions*

Today Mommys Craft Obsession is featuring a brand that parents everywhere know and love. The First Years has been supplying parents with quality baby items for years and it has become one of the most well known brands available on the market. When it comes to potty training, parents may become easily frustrated when little ones seem resistant, but lucky for us The First Years created a fun potty seat that toddlers everywhere will love!

Potty training can be a very challenging task in a parents life.  When I potty trained Little Miss she caught on very quickly, she was out of diapers by the time she was two.  The only major problem I had with her is that whenever we were in public she had to go to the bathroom at every place we stopped at least once, and I hate public bathrooms they are so dirty and disgusting, so this was a horrible time for me as I'm sure you can imagine.  Now that Baby C is at the potty training age I thought it was going to be just as easy with him WRONG!  A few months ago I gave it a whirl and it didn't go so well, so we decided to take a little break before trying again.

During our little potty training break The First Years contacted me to review their Disney Pixar CARS Racing Mission Potty System, which just happened to be perfect timing!  I was so thrilled to review this potty chair since Baby C absolutely loves Cars I thought this could be just the thing to get him interested and motivated in potty training!

I couldn't wait to get it out of the box so we could give it another shot!  The CARS Racing Mission Potty System comes in four parts; the base, training seat, lift out pot, and an extra thick cushion.

This is a 3-in-1 potty system!  The first stage is a potty chair that can be used until your little one is ready to transition to the family potty.  I love how thick the cushion is on this system!  The potty seat that Baby C was using prior to this one did not have a cushion so his little tushy was always red when he got up.  He seems to be a lot more comfortable on this one!  It also has a high urine shield that is great for little boys.

When your little one is ready to move to the big potty the training seat and cushion snap right on to your toilet seat.  Unfortunately I have one of those crazy oblong seats so it doesn't fit right at the front of my toilet.  I'm not sure how well this will work when Baby C is ready for the big potty, but we will give it a try when the time comes.  I don't think this would be a problem for a rounder seat.

The potty system also makes a great step stool to make it easier for your little one to get on the family toilet and reach the sink to wash their hands.  Both of my kids love step stools so this was a big hit with them!

Baby C loves the picture of Lightning McQueen on the front of the potty chair and the wheels give him the full cars effect!

I think Baby C's favorite thing about the CARS Racing Mission Potty System is the fun engine sounds that it makes when the little blue bottom on the side of the seat is pushed.  This is a great little treat for him when he goes potty!

Although we are not potty trained yet, Baby C is showing a lot more interest this time around! Please wish me luck!

I would recommend the CARS Racing Mission Potty System!  It is fun for kids with the cool design and fun noises, yet functional for parents with the easy 3-in1 system that grows with your child!
