She Said Yes! John Boo's Cutting Boards Review & Giveaway

We're celebrating a special event in honor of two blogging soon to be brides, Larisha from We're Parents and Alex from Mommys Craft Obsession! Each day we will be debuting a special new giveaway or post so make sure you check back frequently!

John Boos has become the leading manufacturer of cutting boards, butcher blocks, and stainless steel food service products in the USA.  John Boos has been in business since 1887 and their products are made in the USA using quality North American hardwoods. Perfect for professional chef's or even just being used in the kitchen of your home, John Boos will not disappoint  Their award winning cutting boards are used by many including Emeril, Bobby Flay, Paula Dean, Mario Batali, Rachael Ray, and many others!

John Boos was generous enough to send me their Edge Grain Oval Cutting Board with Stainless Steel Handles and I could not be more excited! John Boos is the #1 choice for chefs around the world so I knew it would be amazing. The Edge Grain Oval Cutting Board is constructed out of hard rock maple and will last for years.

When the cutting board arrived I was taken back on how big it was! I had completely forgotten that John Boos was sending out their 24" X 18" X 2.25" so when I opened it up I was excited all over again. In my opinion, there is nothing worse than cutting veggies (and fruits) on a tiny cutting board so I found it to be a breath of fresh air knowing that I would have plenty of space to prepare my fruits and veggies. This cutting board weights 32 pounds but I personally love that it weighs so much because it I know that the cutting board won't slip around while I'm chopping things up.

John Boos cutting boards, aka Boos Blocks, are masterfully crafted with over 125 years of experience, giving chefs and us chef's in training a wonderful cutting board that will last for many years. This particular cutting board offers two stainless steal handles to easily move the cutting board if needed.

What I adore about this cutting board is the deep grooves for fruit juices to run into if you are cutting fruit. Having the grooves helps avoid messes on your counter tops and allows you to keep the juices away from your fruits as you prepare them.

The John Boos cutting board is absolutely fabulous and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to invest in a cutting board that will last for many years and allow you to be the chef you want to be! Before I received my John Boos cutting board I was constantly getting frustrated with the lack of space on my cutting board and hated that I had to move off one type of vegetable after it had been cut so that I can make space for the next. Thankfully I no longer have to fret and have plenty of space to prepare all of the fruits and veggies that I want!

John Boos cutting boards are amazing quality and have impeccable craftsmanship. They would make a fabulous gift for a bride to be, family member, or chef!
