Being a cloth household, wet bags are a necessity. When I first started cloth diapering Baby A I purchased two wet bags to hold his soiled cloth diapers and clothing. I kept one in the diaper bag, and an extra in the car for just in case. I can't tell you how handy those wet bags are and how much they have been a lifesaver at some point during our cloth experience! When I started using Mama Cloth I wanted to get a wet bag of my own that wasn't camouflage and didn't have animals on it. Thanks to Logan and Lenora (previously known as Baby by Danish) I am able to have a beautiful wet bag of my own!
Logan and Lenora was created by Rachel, the mother of Logan (and baby Greyson!), who wanted a wet bag that was attractive and fashionable, something that could be carried outside of the diaper bag and still look amazing. Inspired by her grandmother Lenora, Rachel began sewing and still continues to use her grandmothers sewing machine for all of her projects. Logan and Lenora uses the best materials and puts their focus on creating quality wet bags for all of the eco friendly moms out there!
I was generously sent a wet bag in my choice of Red Bloom and I couldn't be happier with my choice! It is absolutely gorgeous and very feminine, which is exactly what I needed!
The Red Bloom wet bag has a top stitched embellishment which I think is the perfect addition to the bag because it give a little something extra and breaks up the pattern just slightly.
Not only is the wet bag lined with a waterproof lining, but the closure also includes three features that will keep your wet bag from leaking. First, the corners are tucked in to keep the moisture in the bag, second, the zipper is water resistant, and third, the zipper is top stitched to prevent snags which would in turn let moisture out!
What I love the most about the wet bag is that it has a strap that snaps together so that you are able to hang it! This is so convenient for many different scenarios! Lets say you're at the pool during the summer and you don't want to get your stroller or car seat wet after your little one is finished swimming- just strip them down, redress them, throw the wet clothes/swim suit into the wet bag and hang it from your stroller! The possibilities for this wet bag are endless.
As I said above, the whole reason why I wanted a Wet Bag was for my Mama Cloth! Thanks to the unique design of Logan and Lenora's wet bag I am able to hang my wet bag off of the toilet paper holder for easy access when I need it! When it comes time to do the wash, I simply unsnap it and transport it to the laundry room!
Now that you've seen what I do with my Logan and Lenora wet bag, what would you do with yours if you had one?
