Kickboard USA 3in1 Scooter Review

You may have seen early this week that I had the opportunity to review a Kickboard USA Micro Mini Scooter with Little Miss D! If you missed that review, you can check it out now by using this link. Little Miss D was so impressed with her Mini Micro that I couldn't wait to try out the 3 in 1 with Baby A! You may be thinking, isn't Baby A, a baby? Yes! Baby A is now 17 months but that doesn't mean he can't have a scooter! Kickboard USA's 3 in 1 scooter is made for babies ages 1 to children up to age 7!

So what makes the 3 in 1 so much different than the Micro Mini? The 3 in 1 comes with three handles and a seat so that the scooter can grow with your child! When your child is between one and two, they will use the round handle with the seat attachment so that they can sit on the scooter and either have you push them, or use there legs to scoot themselves! Please note that the seat will not come pre-attached to the first round handle, however it does come with the screw needed as well as an Allen wrench for extremely easy installation. When your child is ready to use the scooter by standing, you can remove the handle with the seat attachment and easily pop in the second round handle. Once your little one is ready for their big boy or big girl scooter, you can take out the round handle and pop in the regular "T" shaped handle! Once the "T" shaped handle is in place, the scooter can be used from ages 3-7.

Baby A really enjoyed sitting on the scooter's seat, although he hasn't quite grasped the concept of scooting himself along, he laughs uncontrollably when I push him around on it!

Below is a close up of the scooter's seat! As you can also see the scooter has a bright orange brake on the back so when your little one is riding it (with either the round handle, no seat, or the "T" shaped handle) and they get going to fast, they are able to push on the break and stop instantly! What I love most about the feature of the brake is that it is in bright orange! It makes it so easy for your little one to know exactly where it is without thinking that it is apart of the standing area on the scooter.

As much as Baby A loves sitting on his scooter, he was also quite curious about standing on it as well, and to my surprise he was very steady while standing on it! He also found that he could push it too and at this time that is his favorite thing to do. Check out all the ways that Baby A enjoys his Kickboard USA 3 in 1 scooter below, and please, don't mind his outfit - it was lazy day in the MCO household!

  1. He'd definitely need a helmet as an accessory! I like this one a lot: http://www.kickboardusa.com/little-nutty-helmet-rocket-ships-xs

  2. I hadn't heard of a kickboard with a seat. That is such a cool idea! I thought I had to wait until my own 17mo old was much older before she could have a kickboard! Too cool. -Ashley Nicole
