As your little one grows from being a baby to a toddler, you may spend some time wondering what types of bedding to get them. Bedding sets are so pricey and unless you spend even more money to get a custom bedding set, they tend to be pretty ordinary. For Baby A I decided to skip the child bedding and stick with plain colors for two reason. 1. We wouldn't have to keep buying bedding when Baby A grew tired of the cars, superheros, dogs, or whatever other bedding is on the market. 2. Because Baby A's big boy bed also doubles as one of our guest bed, so we figured it would be better to stick with colors that matched his bedroom. If you decide to do the same with your little ones room, why not give your little one's bed a little something extra with a patterned blanket and pillow from Bobbleroos!

Bobbleroos generously sent me a Toddler Pillow and Blanket to review for the Snug As A Bug Event! Baby A is 15 months old so it was time to start thinking about getting him a toddler pillow. The pillow and blanket that we received is in the "Jungle Parade" print, and they even embroidered Baby A's name onto his pillow and blanket! When you receive your Bobbleroo's Toddler Blanket and Pillow, if you plan to use it as a gift, it is ready to be wrapped or put in a gift bag!
The Toddler Pillow measures 12X16 and is just the perfect size for your little one to rest their head on. I love that it is small, it will fit perfectly in an overnight bag for trips and it is the perfect size to move around your house without having a big pillow floating around your home. The blanket measures 35X44 and is perfect to have on your little ones bed or even to keep on the couch! The blanket is light weight so it can be used both in the winter and in the summer (picture yourself on a hammock curled up with your little one under a comfortable blankie!). I am really impressed with the quality of the pillow and the blanket, the seams are flawless and even after washing I had no problems with seams pulling, pilling of the flannel, and I had absolutely no problems with the embroidery. I love the font used with Baby A's name, it is simple yet still gives off the vibe that this is a child's blanket (if of course you couldn't tell by the print).
The blanket is double that size, this is it folded in half.
For the last couple of months Baby A has been all about sleeping on things that are propped. Blankets wadded into a ball, his Mickey Mouse that he sleeps with, he will even sleep on his arm! I have been told by my doctor (talk to your pediatrician about when your child is o.k. to sleep with a pillow) that 18 months is when it is okay to start letting them sleep with a pillow. Although I cannot let Baby A sleep with his new pillow just yet, he uses it all the time outside of the crib! While watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on his big boy bed, while he lays on the ground, and when he's on the couch. Baby A is so interested in his pillow that he carries it around with him through the house.
I spoke earlier about how we chose plain bedding for Baby A's big boy bedding, we ended up going with a plain white comforter and put a crocheted blue blanket that I made over the top. The end of the bed also has a royal blue blanket that sits across the bed. Now thanks to Bobbleroos Baby A gets a cute Jungle Parade themed blanket and pillow to spruce up his bed!
Bobbleroos pillows and blankets would make awesome shower gifts, holiday presents, and even birthday presents! Add your child's name to the blanket for an added touch of personalization and you have a gift that they can treasure into adulthood- who doesn't still have their favorite blanket? I know I do!
