There are two types of people in this world....cat lovers and dog lovers. I myself have always been a dog lover. Miss Bow Jangles is my fur baby, my "first born". If you have a dog who you absolutely love and adore than you're going to want to check out Sweet and Salty Dog.
I treat Mrs. Bow Jangles like she is a human. She has a memory foam dog bed, drinks filtered water and gets the tv left on for her when we leave the house. No, none of that is a joke. She's my little princess!! I love going to the pet store and bringing her home presents whether it's treats, a new toy or a new collar, if I'm near a pet store, chances are she's getting a present. But what drives me crazy is the fact that pet stores offer the most BORING dog collars. They're solid colors and more often than not the size we need is sold out. I've decided to boycott the pet store for dog collars and once you see what Sweet and Salty Dog has to offer, I guarantee that you will never buy a collar from the pet store again.
Shauna, the owner of Sweet and Salty dog is engaged to her best friend and the love of her life and is a dog mom to her three wonderful fur babies- Bertha the bulldog, and Peanut and Honey the chihuahuas. Her inspiration for making collars came when she realized how much money she was spending on accessories for her babies. She has sewn for many years as a hobby making Halloween costumes, pillows, curtains and other fun things, but once she started making collars she hit the ground running and created her Etsy shop. Shauna makes collars that are custom fit to your dogs size and personality.
Shauna was gracious and allowed me to choose a collar that I felt would fit Mrs. Bow Jangles the best. I chose this gorgeous aqua and white flowered collar. Mr. Hunky is always complaining about walking a dog that has a pink leash and collar (seriously? HE'S not the one wearing it right? Oh well). So I chose this print because it was a color that Mr. Hunky would appreciate and that was still fun and girly for Mrs. Bow Jangles. When I got it in the mail i was so excited to get it on her!!!
The collar comes with a very durable plastic clap for easy on and off. On Mrs. Bow Jangles' collar the clasp is black however Sweet and Salty Dog does have colored clasps that she uses if the clasp matches the collar.
It is extremely easy to adjust so that it fits the dogs neck comfortably. I never really figured out what the rule of thumb was for dog collars so I always figured its the perfect fit if I could fit a couple of fingers between the collar and the dog. Some collars are a total pain to adjust but these are a breeze!
The collar has the essential tag loop so you can attach your dogs ID tag, rabies tag and microchip tag! You'll never have to worry about your dog not being identified if he or she decides to wander off.
Sweet and Salty Dog makes amazing, high quality and durable dog collars that will look fantastic on your fur baby. Mrs. Bow Jangles sure looks amazing :)
Want an amazing collar for your fur baby? Head on over to Sweet and Salty dog and order your custom dog collar! Shauna is offering MCO readers free shipping!

Our Day At The Zoo
Today we went to the zoo for the first time as a family!!! It was disgustingly hot but we had a great time! I had only been to the zoo once prior to this, I was 13 years old (we went for my birthday) and I hardly remember a thing. So today was double the fun being as it was my second time going and our first time going as a family. I love elephants and I was SO excited to see that there were five elephants and they had a huge, beautiful habitat. I loved it!! Minus the heat! Here's some pictures for you to enjoy :)

The Story of Me and Him
It was just another fall semester at the junior college, I was excited to start school again, I always loved being a student. Taking notes, organizing, school supplies..it's sort of my thing. What I was not excited about- taking speech did not sound like a good time. I went into class slightly bitter, not excited to know no one in a pretty hands on class. It turned out that I did know someone! My friend Hailey from high school was already sitting down looking miserable. When class started, we were all less than excited to find out that we had to play some "ice breakers". Naturally, I paired up with Hailey and we started doing the ridiculous game the teacher insisted on us doing. And then I saw him. Tall, Handsome and Tattooed. It wasn't love at first sight but I made a mental note to keep an eye on that cutie. A few days later, I received a message on Facebook from Mr. Hunky- supposedly claiming that Facebook had "suggested me as a friend and he recognized me from class". Uh huh, sure. To this day we still argue about who came onto who. After chatting over Facebook messages for a little while, he admitted that it was his birthday the following week so I asked him out to a birthday lunch. I dragged a friend along just to verify that he wasn't a serial killer, which clearly he is not. Two weeks (February 2010) later we decided to date and become exclusive! If someone told me we would come this far when I first met him I wouldn't have believed them. September 2010 we took our first vacation together, my family and I were headed to Hawaii for a week and told me that I was welcome to invite him. He was instantly accepted in my family, they've even told me if something happens to us, they're adopting him. Great! While in Hawaii he asked me to move in with him. October 2010 we got our first place together, a townhouse which we both loved. December 2010 we conceived baby A. I found out the first week of January that I was pregnant, it's crazy how you JUST KNOW. I hadn't missed Aunt Flo, but I just felt- different. So I took a test...well, 4 tests to be exact. We welcomed our son in September 2011. November of 2011 we found out our lives would be changing dramatically and we would be relocating due to his job, he asked if I would be moving with him and I was baffled. Of course I would be moving with him! What was he crazy? I was sort of mad that he even asked. December 15th of 2011 he proposed. It was perfect. He took me and our new little bundle to the beach and proposed while I was sitting on a piece of driftwood holding our son. Nothing could break my happiness. Fast forward to May 2012 and we started our new adventure in a new state! Baby A is now 10 months, our wedding is planned for September 15th (2013) and I am one happy and in love mama :)

Maxi Cosi Foray
My strolled came!!!!!! I love it!!! The seat faces forward or backward, the handle bar is adjustable, has a rain cover, an extendable canopy, suspension wheels, and super padded seat. I love it. And so does Baby A!!!
Nail Polish Whore
I am addicted to nail polish. I worked at a spa from 2008-2011 so nail polish was something that I was around frequently. I became extremely close with a girl who was a nail artist and had the opportunity to learn a lot from her. Although I am not liscenced, I know how to properly do acrylics, gels, use shellac, give manicures and pedicures and apply polish correctly. Sure, I struggle when doing my right hand since I am right handed but is like to toot my own horn and say that I'm pretty good at doing nails. I typically do my own nails since I have pretty much everything I need...I only go to salons when I need some me time. I have an OPI train case full to the brim of nail polish and supplies needed to do a mani/pedi. Today I gave myself a much needed mani/pedi while Baby A napped. I was craving some pink and whites so that's exactly what I did!!!
Baby Shopping Scores
I've been on a little shopping spree for Baby A lately. I have bought him two pairs of See Kai Run, a pair of Robeez and a pair of Squeakers (all are baby shoes). I haven't gotten the most amazing deals on the shoes but unfortunately good pairs of baby shoes don't go on sale to often. My biggest shopping score for Baby A was my online shopping spree at Kohls. I love buying my sons clothes from Kohls because not only can you find stuff on sale, but if you have their credit card, you can use a coupon (either 30%, 20% or 15% off) PLUS you can always find free shipping codes on www.retailmenot.com. Everything that I in my shopping cart was $5.49- literally everything. I bought baby a 5 pairs of shorts and 5 shirts. After the 30% off code and the free shipping I only spent $41. I'd say that is a pretty great score!!
On a side note. My stroller is out for delivery!!! It should be here around noon, I'm STOKED!!! I'll be posting a blurb about it later today!!

Featured Seller/Product Review: Jaceland
*This review is 100% original and in my own words. Everything written is from my own personal view point and opinions. All photos have been taken by me unless stated otherwise. I have been provided with product to review however I have not been compensated monetarily for this review.
Do you love bright colors? Love bold jewelry? Affordable prices? Feeling girly? If you answered YES to any of these, you need to go shopping right now, at Jaceland!
Jacie, the owner of Jaceland, started her Etsy shop because she wanted to be the one to bring sunshine into peoples days. She makes and sells anything that makes her smile, anything for the typical girly girl whether it be glitter and sequins or bright colors and neons. She is married to the love of her life and is a momma to two beautiful dogs. At this time she works full time but eventually her goal is to have her etsy shop become her primary job so that one day she can fufill her dream of being a stay at home mom. Aside from being a wife, a full time employee and an Etsy shop owner, Jacie is also a blogger. You can see check out her blog and follow it by clicking HERE.
When I recieved my package in the mail from Jaceland I was excited to find a whole array of goodies to play with and test out! I love the products at Jaceland because Jacie really takes the time to show what her product is about. She takes fun and crazy pictures of herself modeling whatever it is she is showcasing, which in my opinion gives you a great idea of what it may look like on YOU, that way you can make a good decision about whether or not it is something you would like to buy. Aside from having fun and girly items for sale, Jaceland is super affordable which is great for us fashionistas on a budget. You can still have adorable accessories for a great price and you won't feel guilty for buying two, three, four or even five or more things at a time. I have a bunch of things to review for you so lets get to it!!
The first thing I noticed when I opened my package was a personalized necklace. What I loved about the necklace is that it is two different colors, the chain being pink and the A being aqua! I love it because when I pair colors together, it's usually pink and aqua (or mint!) that get paired together. So right off of the bat I know that this necklace will get a lot of use!! It is light weight, has a sturdy clasp and will go great with even my neutral outfits.
Sparkles!! Who doesn't love sparkles right? What I love about the flower clip that I got from Jaceland is the fact that A)It's covered in gold sparkles and B) Not only can it be used as a hair clip but you can also pin it onto your favorite bag, clothing, etc. It's multifunctional and SO sparkly!!!
Looking for a ring thats big, bold and bright? Perhaps a little over the top too? Then this ring is for you. It's made of hard plastic so its durable, it's bright colored so it will for sure stand out and it is sure to attract a compliment or two while you're showing her off.
Something that I've been really into lately are earrings. I've had my ears pierced since I was a baby, my mom got them done when I was 3 months so for a good part of my teenage and adult life I took earrings for granted. I never wore them, in fact, I hated wearing earrings and only did so when it was necessicary. Recently I've gotten back into them and I was SO excited to get these from Jaceland. These green sparkle studs are vibrant, flirty and are absolute head turners. I wore them while grocery shopping the other day (my hair was up in a messy bun) and I got two compliments on them!! I was only in the store for maybe fifteen minutes, tops.
Last but not least is perhaps my favorite product of them all. I HATE buying cards for people. I hate reading through them in the grocery store, trying to decide which boring or stupid image reflects the person that I am buying the card for. I'd much rather get something creative and more meaningful for the person I'm buying for. The cards that Jaceland has are amazing. They're front is fabric sewn in a design of your choice and the inside is blank for you to write your own message. They come in a varity of different images but I absolutely LOVE the zebra print and heart one that Jaceland gave me. I have someone in mind who will recieve this card when their birthday rolls around!
Jaceland is funky, bright and tons of fun. Seriously, if you're looking to spice up your wardrobe with some awesome and potentially over the top accessories you do NOT want to miss out on the exclusive MCO reader's coupon code!!
