Nuby's Bug-a-Loop Review

Teething Bites. Literally. 

Baby A has been teething horribly lately, he has about nine or ten teething coming in right now, four of them are molars! It has been terrible with a capital T around here. When Baby A was about three months old, Nana bought him a teething toy called the Bug-a-Loop. His Bug-a-Loop has always been a favorite of his and I have many photos of him with it in hand, next to him, or in his month. It wasn't until recently that I realized that the Bug-a-Loop was made by Nuby!

Nuby's One Touch Electric Warmer & Sterilizer Review

As I'm sure you already know, it is not recommended to put your little ones bottles in the microwave. Not only does the microwave kill nutrients, but when you heat something up it creates heat pockets which can result in burning your little one as they drink their milk or formula. With Nuby's One Touch Electric Warmer you can have peace of mind knowing that your baby's bottle is being heated with the heat getting evenly distributed! Aside from Nuby's One Touch Electric Warmer being a bottle warmer, it is also a sterilizer! 

I have to admit, I decided to review this warmer mostly because it had the features of sterilizing as well. With two dogs running around the house and a little man who is constantly dropping and throwing pacifiers, I wanted to be able to have something quick and easy to sterilize his pacifiers rather than throwing them in the dish washer and waiting for the next time I ran it. The light bulb went on and I knew that the Nuby One Touch Electric Warmer & Sterilizer would be exactly what I was looking for.

The One Touch Electric Warmer and Sterilizer includes a measuring cup that has a lid so that you can store the appropriate amount of water for your next bottle. The warmer also comes with a small booklet that tells you the appropriate amount of water per ounces in the bottle you are warming, or the items you are sterilizing.

As I said previously, I decided to get this warmer/sterilizer for Baby A's pacifiers! To test it out, I stuck two of Baby A's paci's with two full canisters of water from the measuring cup above. I wanted to put them in for an extended time to make sure that the warmer wouldn't melt the plastic!

The Nuby One Touch Electric Warmer and Sterilizer is so easy, literally all you do is plug it in and push down on the button. When it is on, it turns orange and it automatically turns off when the water runs out.

Below is a photo of the steam, you can see the beads of water on the top of the warmer, so you can feel confident that it is working as it should be.

Nuby's Step-up Stool Review

When you have a little one, you're going to need a step stool. There's no way that you'll be able to get by without one! Little kids use step stools for pretty much everything, even the non traditional uses! Of course they'll need it to reach things such as the sink, if you have a little boy he will use it to reach the toilet, reaching things in their closet, sitting on, running their cars across, hiding things under, and so much more. Lets face it, I'm sure you'll be grabbing it when you need it to reach the thing you never thought that you would need on the top shelf! 

The Nuby Step-up Stool is probably the most amazing stool that I have come across yet. There are so many features to this step stool that ensures that it will be around for years and years. First and foremost, the Nuby Step-up Stool has the highest weight limit that I have ever heard of a step stool having. This baby can hold up to 800 pounds! Now, I can't imagine that you will actually put 800 pounds of weight on it, but if you needed to for some reason, you could! 

The Nuby Step-up Stool features a textured, rubberized surface to prevent little feet from sliding and resulting in a fall! The bottom of the step stool also has a textured no skid rubber on the bottom to prevent the stool from moving while it is in use! Although this step stool packs a lot of punch, it is still small enough where it can be stored conveniently in a closet or even under the bathroom sink! 

Below is a photo of Baby A practicing his balancing skills in his bedroom. One of his new favorite activities is standing on stools so the Nuby Step-up Stool could not have come at a better time for us! 

Baby A is only 18 months so he is still not tall enough to reach the bathroom sink even with the help of the stool, but soon enough he will be able to!

When we are ready to potty train, the Step-up Stool will be perfect to lift him a little higher and allow him to aim!

Nuby's Flip-It Top Gator Grip Review

I think I may have mentioned it before, but I've noticed lately that I have an addiction to sippy cups. I didn't know there was such a thing until I opened my cabinet and realized that we have more sippy cups than we do adult drinking glasses. Although we have an abundant of sippy cups, Baby A would always rather drink out of my water bottle than his sippy, so I couldn't resist but to snag one of Nuby's Flip-It Top Gator Grip cups for him. 

The Flip-it Top Gator Grip comes in six cool colors such as green and purple, pink and blue, blue and green, and we were lucky enough to receive the very stylish orange and blue. I love the feature of the Gator Grip which gets its name from the Gator-like scale texture on the grip part, making it fun for your little monster!

The Nuby Flip-It Top Gator Grip is for ages 2+ but I decided to get it for Baby A (18 months) in hopes that he would want to drink out of his water bottle that is similar to mommy's. The cup has worked out wonderfully for us, the only thing that I can think of as to why it would be for ages 2+ is because there is no leak proof protection and lets just say we found that out the hard way and got the couch soaking wet! The Flip-It Top Gator Grip has a long straw that attaches to the lid (inside) and allows your child to easily suck their drink from the hard plastic straw top. 

When they're finished drinking from their Flip-It Top Gator Grip they easily push in the straw top to help prevent any accidental spills! 

Although Baby A still prefers to steal my water bottle whenever possible, the Flip-It Top Gator Grip has encouraged him to use his water bottle just like mommy's and he now prefers it over his other sippy cups.

Nuby's Tickle Toes Review & Giveaway!

It seems pretty standard that kids have a lot of stuffed animals, and when I say a lot, I mean a lot. Baby A's bed is covered in 'stuffies' as we call them and he loves each of them so much! The last thing you could ever think that your child would need is another stuffed animal but let me just tell you, your child needs a Nuby Tickle Toes! 

You may be wondering what a Tickle Toes is and why your child needs one. A tickle toes is a cute and cuddly stuffed animal that giggles when you tickle his toes (okay mom, so really you push the little button). Choosing which Tickle Toes would be right for Baby A was a bit of a challenge, they are all so stinkin' cute! After spending way to long deciding, I ended up choosing the bear!

When Baby A first met the Tickle Toes bear, who we decided to name Henry, he was a little standoff-sh because of Henry's giggle. Baby A really wasn't sure what to make of it. I thought it was hysterical, the look Baby A had on his face had "what the heck mom?" written all over it, the Tickle Toes was the first stuffed animal that he has that makes noise!!

Before long, our Tickle Toes Bear 'Henry' was picked up and carried by the ear into the living room where Baby A stood and watched the music channel for a bit. 

In just a few short minutes, Henry the Tickle Toes bear got the sign of approval (a snuggle) from Baby A. 

It took a few times of tickling the Tickle Toes Bear before Baby A decided that the bear's laughter was funny and not scary, now every time he picks up Henry he laughs and tries to find the spot where he can tickle his toes! 

The Tickle Toes are an absolute must for your little one, not only will they bring a smile to their face, but they'll bring a smile to yours as well!
