Kay's Case KidBox Review & Givaway

Just in case you're hiding under a rock, I'm going to let you know that it's 2013. In this day and age, iPads, iPods, Tablets, and other electronic devices are everywhere. I would venture to say that you probably have at least one in your household...heck, you're probably even reading this review from an electronic device that is not your computer/laptop. Am I right? I bet your little ones are infatuated with your iPad, aren't they? I know Baby A is! It's crazy what a little guy of only 19 months can figure out how to do on the iPad. So when little fingers are picking up your expensive electronics like your iPad, how do you protect them? If your child is anything like mine, your iPad is going to be thrown, stepped on, touched with sticky fingers, and everything else you can think of! It's time for a little peace of mind when it comes to a case for your iPad isn't it? Well guys, let me introduce you to my favorite iPad case ever. The KidBox.

*I received a complimentary KidBox for review in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.*

The KidBox was designed with both kids and parents in mind, made out of thick, nontoxic EVA foam and a convenient stand that can also double as a handle. The KidBox was created for iPad's 2 and 3 and is even available for the new iPad Mini! Whether you have a boy, a girl, or prefer gender neutral colors, you will fall in love with one of the five colors that the KidBox is available in, and they even have fun and unique names! The KidBox is available in  Bluey, Limee, Mr. Black, Orange, and Pinky!

Being a girly girl, when Kay's Case gave me the option to choose the color of our KidBox I really wanted to choose Pinky! It was hard to pull myself away and choose another color, but I decided to "be fair" to Baby A and Mr. Hunky and go with Limee- the beautiful grass green KidBox! When it arrived I was super excited  since I have been on the look out for a kid friendly case for many months now and could never find one that really 'fit my standards'. I was anxious to rip open the KidBox's packaging and put it on my iPad!

When I took the KidBox out of the packaging I was impressed with how durable and thick the case was. Kay's Case paid such close attention to detail that they even included a protective area over the home button and a cut out for the front camera!

Across the back of the case there is a significant sized slit so that you can slide your iPad in! It is a very tight fit but once you get your iPad in you can feel confident (and maybe even let out a sigh of relief), that your iPad will be protected. Since putting my iPad into the KidBox I have not removed it so I am not sure on if the foam has a little give once you've put your iPad in and out a few times, but I have a feeling that like me, your KidBox will be your primary case and you won't feel the need to remove your iPad from it!

Once the iPad is in the KidBox you are ready to go! You no longer have to stress out about your kids holding your iPad since it will be protected by the EVA foam! I hate to admit this, but just a few days ago I caught Baby A standing on my iPad (it was upside down) and thankfully I was comfortable enough knowing that it had great protection with the KidBox that I didn't immediately freak out.

My absolute favorite feature of the KidBox is it's flip stand, which also doubles as a handle. Countless times I have found myself holding the handle with my left hand while using my right hand for my iPad. It is incredibly comfortable to do that for some reason! Maybe I'm strange, but I love it. They honestly should rename the KidBox to the AdultBox because first of all, I know some adults that are just as clumsy as kids are, and second, I think I love this case more than Baby A does and ever will!

The KidBox is perfect for Baby A to lounge on the couch with and watch his Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on. It allows me to watch something on the big TV or get things done around the house such vacuuming or cooking dinner.

Whether you're kids use your iPad at home or in the car, you will always have peace of mind knowing that your iPad is protected and can withstand minor falls. The flip stand allows yourself or your child to view the content on the iPad comfortably and it also makes a great handle! My only recommendation for KidBox is to make an attachable piece that covers the screen of the iPad to protect against little fingers! I HIGHLY recommend the KidBox to iPad users everywhere, especially those with kids! It quickly became my favorite case and I plan on using it until Baby A reaches an age where I can fully trust him with my iPad (so like, 40?). The best part of the KidBox is that it is completely affordable and available to purchase through Amazon!
