Mobio is a company that provides high-quality, innovative products to make your mobile devices more useful and convenient.  They identify the core uses of mobile devices, and design unique, beautiful products that are feature-rich and transformative in the mobile space.  They offer three great products; the Mobio Pivot, Mobio Go, and the Mobio Grip.

Most mobile device stands are pretty much the same, they are not very versatile and will only hold your device in one, maybe two positions, but they are very limited.  When I was asked to do a review for Mobio I was really excited about it.  The stand I had only held my tablet in two positions, and they never seemed to be the right one.  When I saw how versatile the Mobio products were I knew I would find good use for them.  I choose to review the Mobio Pivot.  With Mobio Pivot, you can use Skype™ or FaceTime™ without hands and your device is always at the perfect angle. Mobio Pivot becomes a handsfree, motionless tripod when you take photos or shoot movies. Then, when you want to review what you shot, Mobio Pivot holds your device so all can see. Now, waking up to music, playing games, showing presentations, reading books, cooking with recipes, are all easier and more ergonomic. Unlike other stands with limited flexibility and clunky design, Mobio Pivot is a precision-made, sleek, and elegant piece of art that enhances your experience with mobile technology.

You attach a magnet to your device.  Some of you may be wondering if a magnet is safe to use around your device and it is completely safe for them.  They give you a small one for a phone, and a larger one for a tablet.  I thought this may be a little bulky and get in the way on the back of my device, but it is very thin and doesn't bother me.  You can attach the magnet to the device or its case.  Then you set it on the ball of the pivot and you are able to adjust the tablet or phone to any angel you desire.  The magnets can be removed from your device with just a little alcohol, and it doesn't leave a sticky residue behind.



It's great for looking up recipes while in the kitchen, it allows you to keep it raised off the counter that way if something was to get spilled you know your tablet is safe.  You can also set it on your nightstand and read in bed hands free.  My kids have enjoyed it just as much if not more then I have for playing games, watching movies, and especially FaceTime with Nana. It allows them both to see the screen and not fight over who is going to hold it.  We took a road trip last week and my son was really fussy so I figured out a way to prop my iPad up with the Mobio Pivot so he could watch a movie.  I was really impressed that the magnet was strong enough to hold the iPad up sideways.

Mobio is a great product!  I can't wait to try the other ones now.  I would highly recommend this product.  It is very well made and comes with a lifetime warranty.  I think everyone could find a use for one of these, if not all of them.

She Said Yes! Scentsy Review & Giveaway!

Scentsy began with a simple idea;  safe, wickless alternatives to scented candles. The idea took off and  quickly developed into one of the most successful direct selling companies in the world, giving people everywhere the opportunity to be their own boss. In 2004, Scentsy joined the Direct Selling Assoication and enrolled its first Independent Consultant. They have now grossed more than one billion in revenue in just over 8 years and is now offered throughout the United Stats, Puerto Rico, Guam, Canada, and Europe. Scentsy products include decorative ceramic warmers that melt scented wax with the heat from a small light bulb, scent bars, room spray, air fresheners (for cars), and many other fantastic products! 

I have had the pleasure of working with an amazing Scentsy consultant named Candice Cunha and she has been an absolute doll to work with! When I work with independent consultants I like to get to know them a little better so that I know who I am supporting with their business! Here's a little bit about Candice!

I am a twenty-something working Mommy...Full time working Mommy. Our one year old daughters is expecting her baby brother the end of September!  My goal is to be a stay at home part time working Mommy by 2014!!  While brain storming ways to accomplish this goal, I was at a Scentsy party and got excited about Scetnsy.  The products were so welcoming, I figured hey, this is a great way to make a little money - so I forked over my $99 for my starter kit and set off on an adventure. Three months into selling Scentsy things really kicked off, and I can see myself being able to do this for some extra cash when I reach my goal of being home with my kids during the days. Scentsy is a great product, their scents are amazing and the warmers both plug-in style and regular style are perfectly designed to accompany anyone's taste in décor! Scentsy is not very well known in our area of Massachusetts so between my social media updates and people spreading the word I hope to expand my team of Scentsy consultants and become a Lead Consultant! Besides rocking it as an Independent Consultant for Scentsy - I work in the construction industry doing project management.  I adore my daughter and cannot wait to meet my son.  I love all things Disney and Apple.  I have been happily married to my best friend for four years and look forward to what the future holds for us and our family.  I spend my free time doing the dishes and folding the laundry, that is after bedtime of course... and when I am not doing that I am promoting my Scentsy business!  Join my team!  Place an order! Candice generously allowed me to pick out some warmers and scents and I couldn't wait to go Scentsy shopping! There were so many gorgeous warmers that I had a hard time choosing but eventually narrowed it down to the Nature's Haven warmer, Sweetie Pie Plug In Warmer,  Classic Cream Gallery Warmer, Wren Gallery Frame, and a few scents! When I received my package in the mail I was ecstatic to see the warmers I had requested along with the Jack O Lantern Plug In Warmer, Room Spray, and a few of Candice's favorite Scent Bars. I was in Scentsy Haven and I couldn't wait to get everything plugged in to make my house smell delicious. 

I was immediately intrigued by the room spray since I had never used a Scentsy room spray before! The scent that Candice chose for me was Bora Bora Blossom which was also the scent of the month! When I used the spray I was extremely impressed with the scent which was a combination of fruity and flowery. What I absolutely adore about the room spray is that the scent is extremely long lasting! I sprayed the room spray in my bed room and the next morning I could still smell it. I have never sprayed a room spray that lasted more than a few minutes let alone all night! Impressed was an understatement.

I was so excited to have received so many different scent bars to try and I had the hardest time trying to decide which one to use first! I received Honeymoon Hideaway, Skinny Dippin', Lemon & Berries, Sticky Cinnamon Bun, Transcendence, and Sugar Cookie. Out of those six scent bars, thus far I have tried them all except sugar cookie (which for some reason I seem to be saving) and out of all of them my absolute favorite is Honeymoon Hideaway. It has such a fresh yet sweet scent and makes my house smell divine. I also absolutely love Sticky Cinnamon Bun because it smells of cinnamon and makes me think of the holidays! Out of these scents I am not a fan of Transcendence because after it has fully melted it has a pine scent and to be honest, pine just really isn't my thing. Other than Transcendence I absolutely love the rest of the scents! 

What's so great about Scentsy is that the warmers melt the scent bars with a small light bulb that is easily replaceable if it ever goes out. Simply screw the light bulb into the warmer and you're ready to go!

The Nature's Haven is a gorgeous large "premium" warmer that features soft natural colors and a cute bird perched on the warming plate. This warmer looked adorable in my kitchen so I decided to place it in the corner of my counter!

If you're falling in love with Scentsy but don't necessarily have the space for a warmer, Scentsy offers adorable Plug In Warmers that can be placed anywhere  you'd like! They free up your surfaces but still fill the room with delicious scents- it really is the best of both worlds!

What is awesome about the plug in warmers is that Scentsy truly thought of everything when they designed them. Some electrical outlets are upside down so Scentsy made their Plug In Warmers plugs able to rotate to fit most electrical outlets. 

Candice surprised me by including an absolutely adorable Jack O Lantern Plug In Warmer and I think I was a little excited about it. I LOVE Halloween and decorating for Halloween! The Plug In Warmer is so cute whether it's on or off and I can't WAIT until October so I can use it all month long!

The Gallery Warmer is probably my favorite warmer out of all that I received. It is beautiful yet simple enough to be used in any room you choose. I love that you can change out the gallery frames if you so desire, which gives the warmer a whole new appearance!

Scentsy gives my home such a warm and inviting feeling and I turn my warmers on literally every day. I am excited to continue to purchase and try out new scents!

That takes a lot.  I received the package and was nervous to open it.  The photo that I sent them for printing was very special to me.  I finally opened it and was floored.  It was gorgeous.  Simply perfect is the best way to describe it really.  Andrew has no idea that I was getting it done so when I showed him, he was so excited.  He said, and I agree, that the quality is impeccable.

Baby's Got Gear: Barefoot Books Review & Giveaway

We are back for another exciting day in our Baby's Got Gear event! 

About the company: Barefoot Books started in 1992 by two moms who wanted a career where they could make a difference.  For the last 20 years, they have created bright, colorful books for children that combine captivating storytelling and beautiful artwork. I absolutely adore building Baby Skibbles library with quality learning books that are both fun and educational!  I recently learned about Barefoot Books and got to pick a few titles to add to our girl's rapidly expanding collection.  I was pleasantly surprised to see when the books arrived that they had thrown in a few additional titles. 

What I love about the books I received is that there are some that are bilingual and some even come with a CD for additional learning and fun.  I love the ones with Spanish words on one side and English words on the other.  It's always fun seeing how much Spanish I remember from school 

In additional to some older aged books, we got some classic board books for right now.  The are fun, interesting, colorful and Baby Skibbles loves to look at them.  I always enjoy books that, for me, are fun to read and every book we got from Barefoot Books is that and more. 

The Prince's bedtime is one of my favorites that we received.  Not only is it a great story, but I love that I can use it as a learning tool for teaching about the brand new prince that was just born.  I actually love that she will grow up roughly being the same age as the new prince, as I am roughly the same age as Prince William. 

Bedtime stories for us is about learning and fun and Barefoot Books is making that possible.

Lastly, we just simply adore the motto that Barefoot Books goes by.  They are dedicated to diversity, educational, teaching, and so much more.  I'm so happy to have found this awesome company that is going to grow with our daughter.
